PRODUZIONE 1930 DA 1.000.000 A 1036000. introdotto ad inizio 1930 rrestò in produzione fino a tutto il 1948 e venne rimpiazzato dal mod. 11-48 (abbiamo anche questo).
L'ULTIMO PROPRIETARIO era una persona nata nel 1929, quindi : o comperato usato , oppure era di suo padre. Nel 1934 RAVIZZA lo vendeva a 1.700 lire !
Per notizia lo A5 FN costava 1.300 , ed il WALTHER MOD.1926 solo 900 lire.
E lo importava solo nel cal.20 perche' alla FN belga il 20 ancora non lo facevano.
Canna e meccanica perfette, nonostante abbia lavorato non poco. Ovvie Tracce di vita.

The Remington Model 11 was introduced in 20-gauge in early 1930, with serial numbers beginning at 1000000. The receiver with the serial number 1011090 was in production in the factory at Ilion in mid-June 1930. Remington produced over 36000 20-gauge Model 11s that first year and only another 13000 in the next seven years. So, they were likely selling out of inventory all that time. On my 20-gauge there is an M (for million) ahead of the last five digits of the serial number on the barrel ring. So, I'd guess your gun has a barrel off serial number 1039953 which would be a gun in production in mid-May 1931. The REP in the oval isRemington Explosive Proof. The anchor is an inspectors mark, and has nothing to do with the U.S. Navy. There should be a two-letter date code on the left side of the barrel near the choke marking.
